　　A: Have you had any work experience at all?

　　A:你有什么工作經驗嗎？

　　B: Yes. I worked part-time at a coffee shop to help to pay my college tuition, and I also worked in the school administration department. I had three bosses there and many varied duties. Sometimes, especially during the beginning of the each term, it was very busy.

　　A: Have you ever worked with foreigners before?

　　B: Oh, yes. At my university, I was active in projects with the foreign student group. We planned social gatherings and outdoor activities. Our group had students from 10 countries, and I felt quite comfortable with them all.

　　A: How do you think working for a foreign company will be different from working for a Chinese company?

　　B: I think that generally, foreign companies are more willing to give a great deal of responsibility to their employees. I think that once I prove myself to my superiors, I will have the chance to do increasingly difficult work assignments. This is what I hope for. Mr. Smith, I’m a very hard worker and I take a lot of pride in my work. I think I can be a strong asset to your company if I’m given the chance to prove myself.

　　A: What do you think a job is?

　　A:你認為什么是工作？

　　B: I think it is a way to make a living, of course, but what’s more important, a job is a way of developing as a person.

　　B:我認為工作固然是一種謀生的手段,但 是,更重要的是,工作是一個人成長的途徑。

　　A: In your current job, what has given you the most satisfaction?

　　A:在你現在的工作中,你最滿意的是什么？

　　B: When everything is completed, I have a strong feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.

　　A:: Do you prefer working by yourself or with others?

　　A：你喜歡獨自工作還是喜歡和他人一起工 作？

　　B: Both! Sometimes I have an assignment that needs total concentration, like working with financial figures. At times like these, I need to be alone and be quiet. But other projects are best done with group support, and I enjoy working with a team in these situations.

　　B:兩種都喜歡！有時遇到分派的任務需要 集中精力完成，如財務計算一類的工作， 就需要一個人安靜去做。但在其他需要 集體合作才能做好的項目上，我非常愿 意和大家一起合作。

　　A: What have you learned from some of the jobs you’ve had?

　　A:你從你做過的工作中學到些什么？

　　B: I think at first I tended to be over-or-ganized. I have learned to concentrate and focus on the most important parts of a job and not get too caught up with small matters.丨 think I’ve also learned how to work smoothly with people who have different personalities.

　　B：最初我做事過于死板,后來在工作中逐 漸學會了分清輕重緩急。同時，我還學 會了怎樣與不同個性的人一起工作。
